Alt-rock trio Snayx’s new single ‘Strut’ is a punked-up bass-driven slammer.

In a press statement, the band’s vocalist Charlie Herridge said that the song explores “modern ideals and perceived values through the eyes of a social media-obsessed society.”

Herridge elaborated: “Nepotism, vanity, generational wealth, trends and crippling social media addiction. The lyrics cover all aspects of the aspirational hustle of the digital generation.”

“Whilst still sharp and tongue-in-cheek, the song is better framed as a social commentary without judgement or shade. Keeping up with the Joneses has reached its digital climax.”

The trio has shared a frenzied music video shot from the perspective of their fridge.
